Can't anyone just upload anything? Or copyright the work?

The app is currently in its beta stage, but upon completion, auditors and moderators will be appointed to ensure the work is in the proper format and receive rewards for their efforts. Additionally, to comply with copyright laws, a KYC process will be implemented in the future to verify a person's identity and ensure proper crediting.

Why isn't the smart contract and the application integrated?

If the application is integrated with the smart contract, users will be required to pay gas fees. However, as the project is still in its demo stage, it does not make sense to implement this feature at this time. Nevertheless, the code and infrastructure are ready to be launched in production.
